The family business services the broader Riverina Region in NSW and Northern Victoria including Albury, Southern New South Wales, Wodonga, Wagga Wagga, Northern Victoria and Shepparton

Two men, one of whom is Andrew Hewines, are shaking hands in front of a large white truck with a red and black logo. Behind them is a building with a sign that reads "HUMEHIRE," featuring a red eagle graphic. One man wears a blue shirt and jeans, the other a gray shirt and khakis.
Hume Hire has enjoyed steady growth since opening, and Andrew is seeking to appeal to more customers and projects by offering a broader range of equipment. Chris Hawkes, the South West NSW Client Service Manager at Conplant, first met Andrew in October 2018. Fast forward a few months, and Conplant has already been able to assist Hume Hire with compaction equipment that has allowed Hume to expand its fleet and find new opportunities to grow the business.

“I first meet Andrew as a cold call back in October,” said Chris.

“Now we’re doing a lot of work together—currently, Andrew has a six month hire of a 16 tonne Wacker Neuson Multi Tyre Roller. The relationship between Hume Hire and Conplant is strong and we’re looking forward to a lot of future growth together.
