Projects that shaped Conplant

The image features a rectangular logo with text and symbols. On the left, there is a circular green and blue logo next to the words "Australian Hire Company of the Year." On the right, the letters "HRIA" appear in bold, stylized text, highlighting their commitment to careers in the industry.

Every project presents different challenges. The projects below demonstrate how Conplant has supported major civil construction and infrastructure works across Australia, helping shape the equipment, expertise and service we deliver today.

Warrell Creek to Nambucca Heads Upgrade

Location: New South Wales
Capability: Remote Unmanned Compaction
Sector: Road Infrastructure

construction site - New South Wales Pacific Hwy

The Pacific Highway upgrade between Warrell Creek and Nambucca Heads demanded a different approach to compaction, with challenging terrain, constrained access and increasing safety requirements making conventional methods less suitable. This project became the catalyst for Conplant’s remote unmanned compaction capability, establishing a solution that continues to support high-risk and complex infrastructure projects today.

Western Sydney Airport Airside Civil Works

Location: New South Wales
Capability: Völkel Intelligent Compaction
Sector: Airport Infrastructure

Two airplanes on a taxiway beside a grassy strip at an airport.

Airside construction required a new approach to understanding and verifying compaction performance. The first major deployment of Völkel Intelligent Compaction strengthened Conplant’s ability to provide real-time data, greater construction visibility and enhanced quality assurance across major infrastructure projects.

Coomera Connector Stage 1

Location: Queensland
Capability: Oscillation Compaction
Sector: Road Infrastructure

Construction site along a river with an elevated bridge overhead, a tall crane, and rows of concrete foundations and equipment.

With sections of the project located near residential and structurally sensitive areas, the specification called for oscillation rather than conventional vibratory compaction. The project reinforced the importance of selecting the right compaction method for site conditions, strengthening Conplant’s capability to deliver specification-led solutions across complex infrastructure projects.

South Flank

Location: Western Australia
Capability: Mining Fleet Support
Sector: Mining Infrastructure

Industrial construction site with a tall concrete arch, cranes and conveyor belts, orange safety barriers, and workers in hi-vis gear.

Operating within one of Australia’s largest iron ore developments required more than high-performing equipment. It demanded reliable machines, proactive maintenance and responsive support to maximise uptime in a continuous production environment. The project reinforced Conplant’s capability to support mining operations where equipment availability is just as critical as compaction performance.
