Racing to the Top with Cameron Hill (Conplant’s Sponsorship of a Rising Supercar Star)

We are excited to announce that we are sponsoring the talented Australian driver, Cameron Hill, in the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship. Hill will be driving a Chevrolet Camaro for the team Matt Stone Racing and will be the first Canberra-based Supercar driver since 2004.

The 2023 Championship will feature the new Gen3 ruleset — which includes the introduction of the Camaro. We will also see improved road relevance and safety features with a reduction in downforce (which is set to enhance the racing spectacle).

While Cameron will be a rookie this year, he has already had a successful career in motorsports — including winning multiple state championships, the Australian Formula Ford Championship in 2015, and the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia in 2021.

He shares our passion for engineering, technology, and solutions, and we are looking forward to being a part of his journey in the Supercars Championship!

Why Cameron Hill is a perfect match for Conplant

As a leading construction equipment company, we definitely understand the importance of staying ahead of the game and being at the forefront of industry innovation — but our alignment with Cameron doesn’t end there.

At Conplant, we are committed to promoting and upholding family values, and this is something that Cameron Hill also strongly values in his own life. He is pursuing his dream of becoming a champion with the support of his parents, Colin and Helen, who have invested heavily in his quest.

Cameron Hill has a strong commitment to growth and has built his skills and knowledge in the sport from the ground up, aligning with Conplant’s value of continuous knowledge acquisition and development. Safety is a top priority for Conplant, and this is something that Cameron Hill also recognizes and values as he continues to strive for excellence.

With his dedication to growth and safety, we are proud to be supporting Cameron Hill as an up-and-coming Aussie talent in motorsports. He is determined, not afraid to take risks and keen to have a crack at the top leagues!

Conplant is proud to be behind Cameron Hill (from karting to Supercars)

It’s been a long road to the top for Cameron, and this next chapter could be his most exciting yet. Far from an overnight success story, Cameron has been consistently at the front of the field throughout his motorsport career.

He began karting at the age of nine and since then has won numerous motorsports championships at the state and national levels. He also made his debut in the Repco Bathurst 1000 last year.

In the coming weeks, we will be revealing some exclusive images of the Chevrolet Camaro that he will be driving — with Conplant branding as part of the wrap. We look forward to showing off the car and being a part of Cameron Hill’s journey as he takes on his rookie season as an underdog in Australian motorsports!
