As Conplant’s product specialist, Liam’s passion for compaction is immediately clear when you talk to him. A qualified heavy vehicle mechanic with 18 years of compaction experience, Liam brings deep technical expertise to every customer interaction. “We’ve usually encountered most customer scenarios within our hire fleet. The role isn’t just what it says on the tin!”

Since 2006, Liam has done everything from equipment sales and product demonstrations to warranty support and spare parts coordination. “Sometimes, I even jump in a truck to help a customer get out of a jam. That’s just part of who we are at Conplant.”

His years in the industry have given him a front-row seat to changing attitudes about compaction. “Larger companies are now realising the value of good compaction. It used to be an afterthought, but with major projects now carrying warranties of up to 20 years, getting compaction right is crucial.”
